This picture was found at American Memory.com It is outside in a farm field. This looks like a normal life during the Great Depression to me. There is not a lot of light but there is a good amount. I'd say it looks like it is about four o'clock. It is in a rural place. There are two African American people. One is a mal and one is a female. They look as if they are in their forties. Their clothes aren't extravagant. So they should be middle or poor class. They don't have any distinguishing features. The fact that they are working the fields catches my eye first. There are no buildings in this photograph. The background consists of trees. It is not a heavy picture. It is negative because they are working the fields. It is dusk outside so it is a dark picture. I would want to ask the photographer who the people in the picture are and what crop they were harvesting.
This picture is from American Memory.com. It is outside and is light out. I'd say it's midday. This picture is in the city. There is one man in this picture. He is struggling to push his car through the street. He looks fairly young, he might be 25 years old. He has nice white clothes on. He has good style. This picture is in black and white. It caught my eye that he was pushing the car by himself. There are many buildings in the background. They seem like they are in good condition, perhaps they are new. It is a light picture. Not too much is going on. It is calm. I'd say it is a negative picture because the man has to work by himself to push his truck. It is a dark picture for the same reason. It is sad that noone helps him. If I could ask the photographer two questions I would ask why noone is helping him and what kind of car that is.

I got this picture from American Memory.com. It is outside and judging by the bright sunlight against the building I'd say it's about one o' clock. This is in an urban scene. There are about ten people outside and in the building. They are all adults and are dressed pretty nicely. They look "fly." All of them are African American. The dog on the left catches my eye. There is a building behind the people. It seems like a nice store. This is a light picture, it is relaxed and calm. I can't tell if it is positive or negative. It is just chill. They are spending their downtime here. It is a light picture because there is not much action in this picture. If I could ask the photographer two questions I would ask why they are sitting there and what is that building.
